February is here! Whether you're planning a Valentine's Day with your booskie or a GALentines Day with your besties, you're going to need a killer beauty look for your night out. Today I'm teaming up with Walgreens to show you three of my go-to date night looks. By focusing on making one part of your face pop (eyes, lips, etc) you can really compliment your natural beauty.

First things first - drop by Walgreen's beauty aisle and buy one of everything. Oh, and while you're there, don't forget that your husband wanted some more potato chips and soda. I actually spent about 30 minutes picking things up and putting them back before I decided what I wanted to get!

Since Valentine's is on a Friday, I'm going to assume most of you have work that day...and therefore, are going to be starting with a face already "made up". So each of these looks starts with a clean base of a "no makeup look". You can use your favorites, but I picked up a few to try.

CoverGirl TruBlend Pressed Minerals Powder in Fair, Maybelline Dream Nude Airfoam Foundation in Classic Ivory, and Wet & Wild Eyeshadow Palette in The Naked Truth.

This neutral palette was a total surprise! At only $4, it's a great alternative to the Naked palettes that I'm so fond of. Each color is embossed with where it goes on the lid, so creating a simple, natural look is easy for even the beauty challenged (as I tend to be myself). This is definitely a palette I'm going to throw in my purse or gym bag from now on in case of emergencies!

So start with whatever face you have and add any of these fun details to finish your Valentine's look.

This look is slightly old-Hollywood inspired. I love a big fat cat eye - and I recently decided I should branch out with blush colors, so we'll create a classic look using Rimmel ScandalEyes Retroglam Mascara in black, Rimmel ScandalEyes Thick & Thin Eyeliner, and Mabyelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Hot Tamale.

This pencil is really easy to use! It lets you make either a fat or thin line and is definitely much easier to work with than normal liquid liner. With any cat eye, practice makes perfect. If you're having trouble, rest one elbow on the counter while you apply to steady your hand. Since we're playing up the eyes, finish this look with a simple gloss.

For look two, I wanted to try a smoky eye for something a little more sexy. I've never been great at them, to be honest; but I recently discovered a technique where you line your eye heavily and then smudge it with your finger to create the smoky effect (see pin here). So when I found this Maybelline Master Smoky Eyeshadow Pencil in black blue, I thought it would be a simple way to create a smoky eye.

This pencil was harder to work with than I expected. It kept rubbing off when I tried to smudge it. It'll take me a minute to get the hang of it, but I ended up just smudging a bunch all over my lid and then sweeping a sparkly silver over the top. I finished it off with a black liner to deepen it a little.

Look three is my fool-proof date night look! Science has determined that red is the sexiest lip color, so who are we to argue with that? Whenever I don't have time to revamp my whole look, lipstick is the easiest way to make myself feel fresh and a little dressed up. I haven't always been a lipstick girl, but once you start...it's pretty addictive. I'm always looking for new shades to try, so I picked up this CoverGirl Lip Perfection Lipstick in 305 Hot Passion.

All I did for this look was add lipstick! You could throw some powder in your bag to touch up and be ready to go from work to weekend with this simple quick fix. And how great is this color? It only took one sweep to get it this bold. I'm definitely a fan now.

What are your go-to date night looks? Does anyone else have the same problem I do with buying makeup every time they go to Walgreens? (PS - Happy early Valentine's!)
