As I continue to try and hone in my style and get my wardrobe just right, I like to keep a running list of things that I'm looking for. I've learned one thing about shirts - I like 'em sleeveless more often than not. In the Summer, I usually wear a jacket at work because it's freezing, but then immediately ditch the jacket before I go outside to avoid melting.
There are a few things my tops must be - cute and unique is obviously at the top of the list - but I'm also looking for tops I can wear from work to going out to weekend. I did a little digging on Shopbop to see if they had anything I needed (and they did, as always).
I think tops are one of the most important pieces of the wardrobe (and packing, too). They offer the most variety to your look, so if you're going to collect anything, tops are the thing. I love each of these because they're interesting enough on their own. The 3.1 Phillip Lim would be awesome on the weekends with joggers. The sass & bide top is SO unique, I could see it under a jacket for work and then without for after hour cocktails. And the DVF top is a classic. Black or white ankle pants for work, cute chambray shorts and wedges for the weekend! Summer wardrobe achieved.
This post is sponsored by Shopbop, if you need me I'll be continuing my quest for the perfect shirt over there.
