30x6 :: Scarfed and Striped

The one thing I probably figured out the most quickly about New York fashion is this - SCARF IT UP. I'm glad I brought about 5 or 6 scarves. Not only did I have enough to loan them out to my sis, they dress up a plain-jane outfit (and everyone I saw pretty much was wearing one). Today's outfit was pretty simple - I had to dress in layers. My striped Jackson tee from StyleMint makes a great base. Recycled my mint Limited jeans again, and had to top it off with my LC Lauren Conrad pleather jacket in the morning to combat the cold. I finally broke out my Bridget sandals from ShoeMint too,

It was our first day of sun. We celebrated by walking around Central Park and soaking up some vitamin D.

It was also one of those days where we just kind of stumbled upon some things by luck - like the bar that inspired Maclaren's on How I Met Your Mother!
After a jaunt around the park, we cooled off inside of FAO Schwarz! Literally, they built that place just for taking great pictures in.
And of course, a first trip to NYC isn't complete without a trip to NBC Studios for the tour. Especially for a media/TV girl such as myself. I loved the tour, but it made me miss the world of live television, to be honest!
One more day. I can't imagine going back to boring Little Rock after this. I AM NEVER LEAVING!
