It's officially a new school year - not that that means anything to me. I'm happy to have been school free for a few years, but I always like to rep my favorite schools with a little team spirit.
I work for an education company, so I collect t-shirts from all of the colleges and universities I get to visit. While I mostly wear them to the gym or lounging around the house, they're totally cool to incorporate into an outfit - Especially if you're wanting to support a sibling, boyfriend, or alma mater.
If you want to create a cool look using collegiate gear, choose a vintage style that fits close to the body. Layer on a fun jacket (I chose this cropped tuxedo for a bit of flair!) and great jeans. I'm a little obsessed with these wide leg trouser jeans from Gap. I finished it off with chunky wedges and a bag worthy of carrying my school essentials.
I'm repping Harvard today from my latest trip to Boston (technically Cambridge). I love the soft vintage feel of the tee so I wear it constantly. Just because it's a tee doesn't mean it has to be sloppy. Other ideas to wear your school pride: Tucked into a cute high-waisted skirt, tied up with some funky leggings, or cut off the bottom and wear it cropped with some fantastic bright jeans or pants. Isn't back to school so fun? Go team!
