What I Wore :: Just a few sprinkles

I wish this post were about cupcakes and ice cream, but the sprinkles we experienced were more like...um, rain. I have a hard time getting dressed when it's gloomy, but I've found that a little pop of color brightens my day. I feel like I've mentioned this before. It's kind of my rule for dressing. COLOR!

We actually spent the day signing papers indoors, because we're closing on a house! Fabulous, right? I feel so grown up, married and house all in a month. I'm just excited about all of the closet space.

I feel like I've said it a million times, but I'm having a major quilted moment right now. I'm near obsessed. I also have been loving on my leather jackets, and thought perhaps I needed another black one, so when I saw this one at XXI I snatched it up. Only $35! I've basically worn it every evening since I got it. Fake leather is tricky, but I think this material looks and feels divine for that price point.

I had a few friends ask what sort of shoes you wear to close on a house. Well, I can't speak for everyone, but I wore these fab Isola booties, which are as comfy as they are cute. I love the mix of matte and shiny leather!
