Take One, Day 16 :: White Button Tunic

First of all - thank you SO MUCH for all of your amazing comments on my last post. I know that other people have little mini breakdowns like mine all the time, but hearing that I'm not alone is always comforting. And let's face it - I'm never going to be one of those bloggers who pretends like I've got it all together, because the amount of clothes that end up with a spot of food right on the boobs is like...at least half of my wardrobe. For anyone who was worried about my coat - it did manage to make it through the chili cook off. Hopefully I'll remember this incident and wear something more black or grey next time.

As for today's outfit, I originally wanted to remix the button up tunic under a dress. I had this vision of the tails sticking out of the bottom with some cutie booties, but apparently I would have to wear a pretty slutty dress to achieve that look, because the one I tried with it covered the tails completely. Whoops. Then my husband walked in and told me it was cold and rainy outside (ie, put on some pants). So leggings it is!

This ended up being a remix not far from the original outfit, but look, sweater vest! I actually bought this at the Limited when I worked there and have never really perfected a look with it. I always end up feeling too 90s or too school teacher or just weird. Sweater vests are tricky, yo. Anyway, we went to the horse track and ended up not doing so great, but a fun time was had by all.

Cardigan, Target.
